The Lexington Group seeks to promote the scholarly study of transportation history by awarding study grants that honor one of the organization’s founders, Richard C. Overton. Two awards in amounts of up to $2,500 each are now available to qualified applicants to help underwrite expenses connected with scholarly research on a field in transportation history at archives and libraries.

(Please note that it is “Ballwin” and not the spelling of the locomotive or piano manufacturers.) Applications must be postmarked no later than May 31, 2018. The Awardee(s) will be notified no later than September 1, 2018.
